Do you want individual coaching, or just a bit of advice?
Years running Experience
Years as a qualified endurance coach
International Athletes coached - (so far)
Drawing on more than forty years experience as a competitive runner and ten years as a UK Athletics qualified endurance running coach who has coached runners to international level across a wide range of events hopefully I can give you the right answer to your training question/s or provide you with individual coaching that helps you to achieve your running goals. For coaching I provide a low cost service tailored to your specific circumstances – more details here.
If you can’t find an answer to a question on this website please use the form below to contact me. Although I don’t charge up front, if you are pleased with the advice you receive please consider making a small donation to enable me to continue to provide this service. The benefit of this approach is that you decide on the value of my advice.
I will always try to respond as quickly as possible but if I am busy, or temporarily out of internet range, it may take a little longer. If I can’t give you advice based on my experience I will try to point you in the direction of someone else who can help you.
The advice I give is based on the information you give me and will be limited to helping you improve your running performance through training. Some possibility of injury and illness is inherent as a result of any exercise programme and life itself, so I cannot accept any responsibility for any issues that arise out of your individual interpretation and application of this advice.
If you are already formally coached I would always strongly recommend that you follow the advice of your current coach who will have much more information about your past training and race history. It is not my intention to offer advice that overrides existing coaching arrangements.
